THE STORY

Lilacs are known for their heady scent, bringing on a flood of good memories associated with spring. They are our eldest child’s birthday flower. On lucky years, we have been able to pick some for her birthday table arrangement.

The whole set up (in my screened in porch) felt very French Impressionist to me. A lot of Debussy was played in the making of this painting!
